A member of the Japanese Society for Sexually Transmitted Infections. He trained at International University of Health and Welfare Hospital and Institute of Science Tokyo Hospital, among others, and practices with a focus on STI testing and treatment.

After graduating from Shinshu University School of Medicine, he completed his initial residency at Kawasaki Municipal Ida Hospital. Alongside treating sexually transmitted and urological conditions, he is involved in research on drug-resistant gonorrhea.
